Group Discussion - Kate Parkinson, Candidate Number 9204 and Jamie Ellis, Candidate Number 9150

Today, Kate and I were discussing the layout of our documentary, who we'd like for the voice over and I wrote up a letter to an interviewee and a strong candidate for our presenter.

We discussed it's structure, coming up with multiple ideas about it and deciding that we'd like to start at the beginning. This would allow us to show off our our skills in making an opening sequence which will be in the style of a typical montage of clips. We wanted to include a number of interviews of differently aged people of both genders. We wanted this variety of people as this would give our documentary the widest possible amount of opinions. It should give us a wider range of opinions that our presenter could tie together in a final speech.

We would like our presenter to be a male either in his 20's or late teens. We've written to a possible candidate who we've been told would suit our role of presenter quite well. We have discussed what we'd like from the presenter. We'd like him to be heard during interviews, we'd like to have him in shots where he'd be strolling/walking along a street whilst talking about either the history tattoos, some facts about tattoos or something similar.

We've decided on the days we'd like to hold our interviews and where we will go to get the largest amount of people. This will give us the greatest amount of variety in the answers we should get, as there will be such a large amount of people in the area to interview. We'll be going into the local town on market day to get this vast amount of people for interviewing.
